Often the best parts of my job is working with the youth. Tweens (pre-teens affectionately called tweens), teens, and high school seniors can be so invigorating. They can literally renew your life and energy.
Check out one of my fearless teens, Alexandra. Smart, pretty, wise and ready to take on the world. It was freezing cold! She killed it, cold and all.
For my future clients, take Alexandra's advice...she is giving some good tips on how to prepare for your future photo session!
What extracurricular activities are you involved in? What about any interests?
I'm in interested mainly in art. I love to draw and paint, art is really my passion I also love photography. I play volleyball for school, but I swim outside of school and that is the sport that I enjoy the most since I have been doing it since I was 7.
What most excited you about having your photo taken?
Since I was interested in photography already I thought that it would be super fun to experience a real shoot. Also I have friends who have done shoots before and they looked really fun.
How was your overall photo session experience?
Overall my experience was really good. I enjoyed it the whole time and it was something new to experience. I was super comfortable and it felt natural.
What's one piece of advice you have for other tweens/teens getting their picture taken?
Just relax. Its all about having fun and the more relaxed you are the more you will enjoy it and the better the pictures will turn out.
Books or Movies? What is your favorite one?
My favorite book is called the selection. Its part of 3 book series that has a lot of mini books along with it. My favorite movie is probably any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
If you could do or be any one thing what would it be?
If I could do anything it would be to put my art in big shows.
How would you advise someone else to prepare for a photo session with MRP?
I would tell them to prepare by talking to friends who have done a photo session before they might have some helpful tips. Also, to go on the website and look at some of the other MRP pictures.
Any tips on hair or makeup? Please list any vendors/salons you went to here, as well.
The makeup artist came to my house and she was super nice. Just don’t have anything on your face I guess. For hair I did my own hair. I curled it and it took me about an hour and 45 minutes because my hair is long and thick I started doing it 2 hours before the makeup artist arrived because I wanted it to last as long as possible.
What was your biggest fear or worry about the photo shoot? What was the outcome?
My biggest fear, honestly, was that the pictures wouldn’t turn out good or that I wouldn’t be good at modeling. In the end I love how they all turned out and it felt natural. MRP made me feel really calm and happy and the shoot was fun.
What do you love most about yourself?
What do I love most about myself? That’s a hard question. Well, I would have to say my honesty. I try to always tell people exactly what I feel because I think that being truthful with people is important in developing strong relationships.
Did you bring any props? If so, what were they and why did you decide to bring it?
I brought some jewelry, but I don’t really think of that as a prop.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
Outgoing, honest, and creative
Thanks for stopping by :O)
